In an escorted tours (group tours) scenario, most of the requirements you would have already paid for in Indian Rupees before departing on tour. However, should you want to do some shopping or enjoy local cuisine,  which are not included in your tour price, you may need to carry foreign currency. You can carry currency, prepaid forex cards or travellers cheques to meet your forex requirements. US dollars, Euros and British Pounds are the most popular currencies but we recommend that you carry sufficient currency of the country which you are visiting so as to cut costs of conversions.
