Travel insurance is mandatory for obtaining visas for your international travel, to a number of countries, eg the European countries under Schengen Agreement. Even if it is not mandatory for the visa processing, we will still recommend very strongly, applying for and obtaining insurance. A minimum cover of US$50000 is required to be taken which will generally cover against personal accident, sickness, death, emergency repatriation and personal liability etc. Insurance can also be taken as a cover against trip cancellations, loss of baggage, loss of passport, flight delays etc.

This is a million dollar question. Costs of international holidays depend on the forex rates as much as on the seasonal variations too. During peak seasons/holiday seasons, the airfares touch sky high as also the hotel rates and other services. During off seasons, exactly the opposite happens and you can get wonderful deals. Please check with us about the seasons and the best deals available.

Absolutely. If there are included or optional activities that you don’t wish to participate in, you can do your own thing instead. The exception to this is when we are trekking or travelling from one destination to the next. Please note that if you choose to opt out of an included activity, no reimbursement can be made by us.

Absolutely yes. We offer discounts for children on a number of tours on international circuits. The discounts may vary from tour to tour, from services to services and depend on the age profiles of the children.  Please contact us for specific information related to tours and discounts available.

If you miss your flight, you should immediately notify the airline so that you are not considered a “no show.” The airline can assist you with re-booking on the next available flight. If there is a mechanical problem, delay, canceled flight or missed connection, most airlines will attempt to rebook you on the next available flight at no charge, however, there is no requirement for them to do so at no cost. To help prevent missing your flight, make sure to check your flight status to see if departure times or gates have changed and make sure you have sufficient time between connections.

Some countries, especially in the Middle East and Asia, dress more conservatively. You shouldn’t wear shorts or sleeveless tops in these places, so ensure you have some other forms of clothing packed in your bag. It is also handy to have a long-sleeved top packed in your bag – places like St Peters Cathedral in Rome require you to cover your arms when entering the building. You don’t want to miss out on the opportunity to see such fabulous places just because you don’t have the right top with you!

Most of our group tours include airport transfers. In a customised itinerary these can be included as per request. Airport transfers can be arranged on a private basis as also on a seat-in-coach (SIC) basis. We can advise you on the availability of public transportation also, at the major airports world-wide should you be so interested.

We can help facilitate purchase of Forex for the requirements on your trip. In an escorted tours (group tours) scenario, most of the requirements you would have already paid for in Indian Rupees before departing on tour. However, should you want to do some shopping or enjoy local cuisine,  which are not included in your tour price, you may need to carry foreign currency. You can carry currency, prepaid forex cards or travellers cheques to meet your forex requirements. US dollars, Euros and British Pounds are the most popular currencies but we recommend that you carry sufficient currency of the country which you are visiting so as to cut costs of conversions.

On escorted tours, we provide mostly 3* or 4* accommodation. On premium tours, we provide 5* accommodation also. Generally, the rooms are for double occupancy but an additional guest can be accommodated at an extra cost. However, in case of a customised tour we will request you to specify your preference for the type of accommodation. Special request like wheelchair access or no smoking rooms etc can be accommodated subject to availability if a request has been in advance. The check-in times are typically 1400 hrs and check-out times are 1100 hrs, internationally. However, early check-in and late check-out can be requested and provided depending on rooms availability and at an additional cost.

Cancellation and refunds policies vary from tour to tour, airlines to airlines and hotels to hotels. At the time of issue of airline tickets we will specifically elaborate about the rules regarding booking cancellations and refunds claimed, about refundable or non-refundable tickets. As a general rule, refunds will be maximum if you cancel more than two months in advance. As you go closer to the date of departure, refunds will shrink. Hotels follow a similar policy. In case of a package tour, the cancellation and refund policies will be mentioned in detail in the booking forms and you would be informed about these at the time of booking.
